Special AIR Pottery Program at Fuen Kiln
(8-Day Private Rental)
【Price & Schedule】
- Total Fee: \80,000 (Includes 8 sessions, 16 finished
products, and materials)
- Breakdown: 6 days for initial production, 1 day for
the Folk Art Tour, 1 day for final painting
& social gathering.
- Time Slot: 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM (Up to 6 hours per session)
- Payment: Full payment required on the first day before
starting.
【What’s Included】
- Clay: Approx. 16 kg (Only original Fuen Kiln materials
allowed. No outside materials).
- Firing Costs: Firing for 2 pieces per day (Total 16 pieces)
using an electric kiln (45x40x50 cm) and
an overglaze painting kiln (30x30x30 cm).
- Space: Shared space with an electric pottery wheel.
(Works-in-progress will be stored around
the electric kiln).
- Folk Art Tour: Iwami Folk Craft Kiln Clay Procurement Tour
(Approx. 5 hours in the afternoon).
- Final Day Event: Pottery painting followed by a gathering
with local residents to enjoy earthenware
pot cuisine, "Golden Ayu Rice"
(Approx. 6 people).
- Free Shuttle Service: Fixed route only (16:00 Accommodation ?
Supermarket for dinner/kitchen supplies ?
Workshop ? Cleaning ? 22:00 Return to accommodation).
【Important Rules】
- Size Limit: Due to the 8-day stay, kiln capacity, and
drying time, large or thick works cannot be made.
- Timeline: Day 1-6: Production ? Next 2 weeks: Glazing
& firing by the workshop manager ? Final
Day: Overglaze painting, firing, and next-day
delivery.
- Commercial Use: You are welcome to sell the finished products
as your own work.
- Cooperation: Please allow us to use images of your production
process on our social media, and please leave
a review on Google Maps.
